Testimonials
Cinci approaches her work as a publicist with great enthusiasm and a willingness to explore many options for her client. I was impressed with her organization and fore-thought when it came to promoting our show for the 2007 Vancouver Fringe Festival. Cinci was an integral part of our success at reaching our goals for promotion.
Danielle Marleau – Theatre Director
Cinci is professional and consistently comes through for me! Her PR work has landed major hits for my clients and she puts her heart and soul into every project.
Phoebe Yong, President, Magnolia Communications
We engaged Cinci to project manage our Global Sales Meeting in Whistler for 80 people. She quickly understood the Icebreaker way of doing things and brought loads of ideas to make the meeting hum. Several attendees said it was the best meeting they’d been to – seamlessly organized and fun, a credit to Cinci. I would happily hire Cinci again as it was a pleasure to work with someone for whom nothing was a problem.
Sarah Sherriff, Market Manager, Icebreaker Merino Clothing
Cinci worked with me to organise the Icebreaker Regional Line launch in Vancouver. To know that I could call on Cinci confident that she would be willing to help with any task required of her and do it well [while always smiling] are highly commendable attributes when looking for a person one can truly rely on to get the job done. Cinci is a person full of integrity who we will most definitely call on again in the future should we need her expertise to help us through the busy times.
Frith Campbell, Canadian Marketing Executive, Icebreaker Merino Clothing
Cinci took the reins for CaseCamp in Vancouver and assembled a rock solid conference. She really got the CaseCamp vision, and was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. I endorse working with Cinci. She understands how to put together new media conferences, she’s reliable, and dedicated.
Eli Singer, Creative Director, Casecamp
Cinci was our BC Youth Week Marketing and Communications Consultant for 2008. Cinci and her team did a great job in raising the profile for youth in British Columbia for the national celebration of youth May 1 – 7. Through print, social media, and cross promotions her techniques were innovative and successful in spreading the word. Through her work she opened up new doors regarding sponsorship, donations and community/business collaboration. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Russ Brummer, Program Coordinator – Youth Services – BC Youth Week
Cinci has done a great job with Communications for the New Forms Festival. In her first year with the team she was able to get a myriad of media associated with the festival and worked well with everyone on the team. She is a great asset to our team and we look forward to working with Cinci in the future.
Malcolm Levy, Founding Director, New Forms Festival
Cinci always demonstrates a genuine passion and professionalism towards everything that she approaches. She is one of the most sincere people I know and it is this rare combination of attributes, which make her an ideal person to have on your team. Cinci is there with full enthusiasm and confidence when it is needed the most, bringing a great wealth of industry knowledge and connections to the table.
We worked with Cinci on the promotion of the Gingerbread Competition and Charity Auction, and honestly, without her, the event would not have been the great success that it was. This was our first event and as designers we had limited connections and resources for gaining media exposure for the redesign competition and charity auction.
The event is close to our hearts with all proceeds going to Pivot Legal Society so hiring a PR representative wasn’t exactly in our budget (even though it was clear we needed one). When she found out about Gingerbread, Cinci jumped in right away, volunteering her services and taking great control of the PR reigns at a critical time with great ease and a wonderful sense of humour.
Having her as a collaborative member on the Gingerbread project really helped us get more than what we were expecting and helped to gain much needed exposure for the event, which in turn helped us to over-exceed our fund-raising goals. It was such a pleasure to work with Cinci on this project and I hope there will be more future collaborations with her in the future. EAT Communications is awesome in every way and comes highly recommended.
Mitra Mansour, Founding Director, Creative Room
Cinci has been doing PR work for Power of Food for the past 4 years and is a mover and shaker in the Sea To Sky Community and beyond. She has an amazing talent at making connections that count and nourishing strong friendships. Adam Hart, CEO Power of Food
Cinci is super professional, organized and well connected – and a lot of fun to work with. Thanks for all the great coverage you helped get for Vancouver Digital Week!
Kirstin Richter, Creative Director / Co-Founder, The Social Agency
Not only is Cinci extremely well connected in the media circles, she has a wonderful demeanor, boundless energy and a solid reputation in the digital media community. She worked very well with both my teams during the Vancouver International Partnering Forum in May 2009 and The Fusion Venture Forum in November 2009 – to bring excellent exposure and profile to the Vancouver events using a variety of reputable online and print media sources. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a stellar media consultant to promote their events.
Christine Lim-Labossière, Director, Fusion Venture Forum 2009
Cinci is an incredible PR, Social Media, and Marketing Guru! She worked with New Media BC on our Fusion Venture Forum and received some great press and exposure in both traditional and new media channels. I’ve been very impressed with her work, but more importantly her personality, her flexibility, her ability to identify when and where to spend our time and efforts, and bottom-line: her ability to deliver and execute.
Rochelle Grayson, past interim executive director for New Media B.C now DigiBC
We hired Cinci as Executive Director for our Business Improvement Association (BIA). Her enthusiasm and savvy knowledge of social media are what set her apart in the hire, and her implementation of that skill set helped our organization take itself to the next level in not only the virtual landscape, but the in the real world as well.
Eric Armour, President of the Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Association
Cinci was part of our social media team doing work on our B2B programs and VX Showcase during the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. We were pleased with her work.
Michael Bidu, President of DigiBC
Cinci worked with us on several aspects of social media. Before, I had a very basic understanding of how different sites worked, the purpose and the point. Cinci worked in creating a Facebook Fan Page and a Twitter account, while explaining the importance of a “web presence”. Her knowledge of how each site works, linking the two together, and demonstrating how “user friendly” it is has helped Agnes Jean acquire “fans” and “followers” from all over. By advertising and promoting our business online, Agnes Jean Boutique is able to reach far beyond the limits of Squamish and gain new customers everyday.
Christine Lancey, Agnes Jean Boutique
Cinci created our Facebook and Twitter pages for my travel agency. Facebook inparticular has become a valuable tool for posting information and making bookings. Cinci is sincere, down to earth and goes above and beyond to help you. She is an expert in her field and I would highly recommend her.
Christine Elliott, Owner, Sunsational Vacations
Cinci has been a very important part of the success of North Shore Multicultural Society’s Neonology youth program. Cinci has passionately helped the staff team successfully engage youth through various social media outlets. With Cinci’s guidance, Neonology has also become noticeably recognized by several local print media and has received attention from other innovative youth programs.
Due to Cinci’s efforts the program staffs are continuously invited for presentation and consultation for other similar programs in the community. The most notable events have been: being Keynote Speaker for North Shore Family Court and Justice’s Community Forum and an invitation to engage the audience at TEDxUBC’s Fast Forward Education event.
Cinci’s warm personality, expertise in the field of marketing, and her broad network will undoubtedly be an asset to any organization that works with her. We proudly continue our connections with Cinci and highly value her kind support and encouragement.
Saba Golchin, Youth Programs Manager – North Shore Multicultural Society
Cinci is a treasure. Her skills in marketing communications are matched only by her powerful network and the respect she has earned within it. During the planning and organizing of Interesting Vancouver 2010 she collaborated with the committee and promoted the event through various channels to great effect. I offer an unconditional recommendation for this skilled, passionate and eager marketing & communications professional.
Mark Busse, Co-Host, Interesting Vancouver

Rosy Janze, Manager, Community Bridging; a program of the North Shore Multicultural Society
Cinci has been a fabulous asset to our business. She is creative, attuned to the moment and brings great passion and exuberance to her daily work and ideas. I would highly recommend her as a consultant and a social media liason. She has been exceptional!
Leslie Fenn, Owner, Howe Sound Brewing
EATComm was absolutely instrumental in establishing our social networking strategy and really taking us to the next level. Cinci is incredible to work with – professional, innovative, and enthusiastic. SHFT has greatly benefited from eatcomm’s involvement with our company.
Lauren Gropper, Partner, SHFT
I really appreciated Cinci’s contributions to the success of the Small Acts Big Impacts Video Project. Cinci did a great job of raising awareness of the project in the media and assisting the NSWAC to share the videos with a wider audience. She is genuinely passionate and enthusiastic about promoting her clients through traditional and social media, which may be why she is so successful in generating interest in their projects.

As the BC strawberry industry moves more and more towards a fresh rather than a processed one, producers must market millions of pounds of strawberries in a very short time period. Fraser Valley Strawberry Growers Association (FVSGA) helps the producers market their strawberries by working with them in an marketing campaign. Traditionally, we use radio, TV and print media to publicize that local fresh strawberries are available. However, increasingly it was becoming more and more difficult to sell the entire fresh local strawberry crop, making it imperative that additional ways of marketing the crop had to be explored. It was suggested that the Association use social media as an additional tool to market the fresh, local strawberry crop. However, it was clearly evident that as an Association we needed the guidance of an expert because we didn’t have the knowledge or skill to delve into social media.
Working with Cinci to guide the Association and the producers into the world of social media was one of the best decisions we have made. Her grasp of the industry, the challenges we faced and their solutions was refreshing and inspiring. The first steps she suggested, such as re-designing our logo and revising our website layout for a professional, upbeat and engaging message using social media. By ensuring that our website included upbeat and informative blogs helped promote the public conversation on local, fresh delicious strawberries. The entertaining and heartfelt videos about our local producers further encouraged the public to explore the local strawberry industry.
In a seemingly effortless way, Cinci created a presence on Facebook and Twitter for the FVSGA. On Facebook she found the appropriate target audience and created inspiring messages for the Association. On Twitter, the Association followed the suitable people and in turn they followed us with our upbeat and exciting posts. Cinci had people talking about fresh local strawberries when it was most needed. When our growers most needed the public to be thinking about, buying and eating strawberries, Cinci came through for us using Facebook, Twitter and through our blogs. Thank you for managing and implementing the FVSGA introduction into social media.
Once the strawberry season ended, once again, seemingly without effort, Cinci educated us on how to retain our presence on Facebook and Twitter and behalf of all strawberry producers, and the strawberry industry as a whole thank you for putting the local strawberry industry on the map in the social media world!
Sharmin Gamiet, Executive Director, Fraser Valley Strawberry Growers Association
